Nick Deminski knows we can do better, and that we deserve better. That’s why he’s running for State Representative. He’s tired of watching politics as usual play out in Harrisburg and at the local level, and believes it’s time for a change. A lifelong
West Chester resident, Nick understands the issues that shape life in Chester County.
His experience in state government, combined with his work in small business and non-profits have given him the tools necessary to fight for the people of the 156th District.
As the youngest of 4 siblings, Nick’s family settled in West Chester shortly after he was born. Nick and his siblings attended private school in the Main Line before entering the West Chester Area School District. After graduating from B. Reed Henderson High School, Nick moved into the Borough and worked his way through Villanova University. Upon graduation, he immediately went to work for the citizens of Pennsylvania, working with Representative Harry Lewis, Jr. While working and attending Villanova’s School of Business, he dedicated his free time to working on political campaigns and volunteering for local organizations. In 2017, Nick was elected Auditor for West Goshen Township as both the Republican and Democratic candidate.
As an entrepreneur, Nick focuses his time as a business consultant, working alongside small businesses as well as large organizations. He believes that public servants must adapt to the changing needs of their constituents, and aims to transform the role of State Representative by increasing the availability of technology and assistance to the local community. He credits his background at Villanova and experience working alongside Rep. Lewis as equipping him with the skills required to bring meaningful progress. Nick’s record of helping both Republican and Democrat candidates proves he is ready to work across the aisle to deliver for the 156th District.
Nick believes our leaders have let down the hard-working members they were elected to serve. Out-of-control spending and party line voting trends have wrought havoc on business owners and families alike. If elected, Nick will seek comprehensive solutions to Pennsylvania’s financial crisis and push for a balanced state budget. Nick also vows to address the massive unfunded liability brought on by decades of stagnation in pension policy, and will take decisive action in curbing our state’s opioid epidemic. Nick Deminski will be a champion for local businesses, a voice for our community, and a protector of all that makes Chester County a great place to live.
